Waiting is hard, especially when we're waiting for God to answer our prayers. In James 5, we're reminded to be patient like a farmer waiting for the rain and to persevere like the prophets and Job through life's most difficult trials. God's timing is not our timing, but His timing is perfect. Through patience, perseverance, and commitment, our faith grows, our character matures, and we learn to trust in God's faithfulness. Even when we can't see what God is doing, we can hold on to the promise that our Redeemer lives. Whatever you've been praying for, don't give up. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep persevering. God's not done, and the rain is coming!
